It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the loss of our colleague and friend Mike G. Munn, who passed away at age 69 on June 5, 2023. Mike left us unexpectedly and we all will miss him more than words can express.
Mike retired at the start of this year. He co-founded Redex in 1980 along with his father. Under his leadership for the past 43 years, the company has grown tremendously. An exceptional man who inspired and touched the lives of those around him, Mike worked tirelessly to expand Redex and always looked for new growth potential. His generosity and willingness to help others will be greatly missed. And it was especially nice when Mike closed the office early on Fridays.
A wonderful husband, father, friend and colleague, Mike had quick wit, a warm personality and always had a great story to tell. Over his long career he made many friends and will be remembered for bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Mike’s dedication to Redex products and his market knowledge will not be forgotten. He made history in the industry with the Anglgear product line, which is sold locally and in international markets as far reaching as Europe, Asia and Australia.
Rest in peace, dear friend. Know that the venture you have built and your influence lives on within us.
