Applications for Servo-Worm ReducersMaterial-Handling Axis: The Servo-Worm Reducer can be used to drive horizontal and vertical axis on material handling machines. These machines can pick up large components (engine blocks, transmissions, etc.) and place them into transfer lines or buffers. Precise positioning and repeatability can be achieved with these axis. Using a high ratio on the reducer which is non-backdrivable (> 19.5:1), allows the vertical axis to hold the load even with a loss of power.
