Cyclic Synchronization of Two Speeds:

High Production machines which pick-up and apply glue at a specific location on the product using a rotating application cylinder are confronted with the problem of glue splattering due to centrifugal forces at high speeds.

This is a simple mechanical positive drive system which guarantees repetitive positioning of a band of glue on the product.

Different amplitudes and frequencies can be obtained by modifying the unit ratio and the sinusoidal input.

The results are obtained by the algebraic sum of the movements:
