Andantex Automatic Registration Control Systems

Overview:

The Amadeus Automatic Register Control system is designed for use on print and converting units requiring accurate registration between the tool and the product.  The system simultaneously drives and corrects the position of the tool (i.e. print cylinder, knife, die, etc.) relative to the product.  Corrections are made each cycle based on operator instructions.

As shown below, the basic Amadeus system includes:  a motorized differential driving the tool, an Amadeus controller, a measurement system (consisting of an encoder and a product detection sensor), and a stepper motor to drive the correction shaft of the differential to advance or retard the tool based on the corrections defined by the Amadeus controller.
