Precision Rack & Pinion Drives
Overview:
This high quality rack & pinion product
range, consisting of helical & straight tooth versions, in many sizes,
shapes and materials. Typical delivery on these standard components is 2 - 4 weeks,
for machine builders who require precise gearing but can't afford to
wait the long lead times necessary for special gearing.
Applications
requiring precise positioning and repeatability - including traveling
gantries, horizontal & vertical axis drives, pick & place robots,
and replacements for long ballscrew axis drives - are particularly well
suited for these drives.

Also Available:
- High-Performance Servo-Worm Reducers provide a very
precise, compact positioning system. Integral pinion shafts mount
directly to hollow output shaft. Backlash levels down to less
than 5 arc-minute.
- Preloaded Rack & Pinion Drive
Systems, for high precision positioning axis where backlash can
not be tolerated, are available
with dual pinions to remove the backlash.
