Differential Phase-ShiftersOverview: This complete line of Differential Phase Shifters allows precise adjustment of the angular position of the output shaft, relative to the input shaft, while the machine is at rest or in motion. They are available in 6 sizes, with ratios from 1:1 to 3:1. The DLO In-line Series combines a high quality planetary differential with an irreversible worm gear in one housing, allowing for infinite angular adjustment of the output shaft. The DLO.D In-line Series adds a planetary increaser to the DLO series design for an overall ratio of 1:1, allowing for infinite angular adjustment of the output shaft. The DR Right-Angle Series adds a set of high-quality Klingelnberg spiral-bevel gears to the DLO Series design to allow for right-angle inputs. This series is also offered in clutching models (DRD & DRI). For more information regarding these clutching phase shifters, please consult the factory. Andantex Differential Phase Shifters feature minimum backlash (< 6 arc-minutes) and low transmission error making them especially effective in phase shifting and register control applications where space is limited and versatility in design is essential. Typical applications include: In-line Web Finishing Equipment, Printing Presses, Labeling Machines, Plastic or Film Web Machinery, Packaging Machines, Textile Machinery, Paper Converting Machinery, Timing or Cutoff Knives. The most recent development of differential technology by Andantex is a Dual Output Differential. One output shaft drives direct from the line shaft to transport the paper, and the second output shaft drives the plate cylinder through a differential to register the impression to the web. Customized units are our specialty, and are available upon request. We will modify our standard designs to fit your design specifications (special mounting, ratios, speeds, etc.). New Amadeus® Register Controllers: The Amadeus system automatically corrects the registration error resulting from product transfer for sheets, or slipping or varying product lengths for continuous products (web). These controllers are combined with Differential Phase-Shifters to provide a complete electromechanical register control system. These system are designed for use on printing and converting machines requiring precise registration between the tool and product.
