"Correctable Backlash" Servo-Reducers

Overview:

This line of servo-reducers meets all servo-drive requirements: minimum backlash, low input inertia, high torsional stiffness, precise repeatability, and reduction ratios from 12:1 to 100:1 in a compact package.

Backlash correction insures that the original backlash value of the reducer can be maintained for the life of the unit.  Backlash levels of 1 or 5 arcminutes are available.

The units are available in 7 sizes and many different input/output styles.  They can accept input speeds up to 5,000 rpm with efficiencies greater than 80 percent.

This reducer uses unique cycloidal kinematics to achieve its reduction ratios.

• 1. Input shaft with double eccentric (high-speed)
• 2. Housing having split internal ring-gears.
• 3. Output shaft with driving pins (low speed)

An input flange can be provided for direct mount to any servo motor. Each reducer is performance certified to the customer's specifications prior to shipment, and is delivered with a data sheet documenting the unit's performance.

This gearbox can also be used as a Cycloidal Differential for cyclic synchronization of two speeds or dynamic register control.
