Applications for Corbac Servo-Reducers

Turning Center Axis Positioning Drive:

The Corbac can be used to directly drive a ballscrew that positions the tool change turret.  This provides minimum backlash to insure precise tool positioning.

Using an exact reduction ratio allows simple encoder calibration (0.00001"/encoder increment).  Integrating a special output assembly into the existing design decreases the overall length of the unit and minimizes cost.  Backlash level is maintained for the lift of the machine.
